Procedure Details

Collagen Induction Therapy can be performed with or without topical anesthesia.  Topical anesthesia is not needed unless there is an extremely low pain tolerance.  Anesthetic tends to lazy up your cells and the results will not be as progressive as if the procedure is done without the topical anesthesia.

Treatment Phases

PRE-TREAT Phase: Is Not For Everyone (Only For Those With Extremely Deep Defined Wrinkles or Scarring)  Eve will decide if this phase is  for you.

Is precise targeting of visible wrinkles using Digital or Rotary Micro needling device.  During the treatment, you may experience some temporary mild scratching sensation on each site. Each targeted area will appear lightly scratched & reddened for 1-3 days.  This will break up old tethered collagen strands or scar tissue that are indenting and giving the wrinkle depth.

micro needling

Phase One

Is the use of a Medical Grade Electronic  Dermapen® consisting of (11) almost microscopic needles.   www.Dermapenworld.com A serum consisting of Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000 and Power Peptides driven into the treated area with every needle thrust.  This creates a very prickly tickling sensation similar to microderm abrasion.   During the treatment, you may experience some temporary warm flushing or a feeling of a sunburn on the treated area.  This will usually fade within 2-4 hours. During the next few hours you may experience some tightening of the skin, which may last for several days.  The CIT treatment includes varying depths of needling in problematic areas and areas of varying thickness.  Penetration can be anywhere from .025mm to 2.5mm depending on the condition of the skin.

Phase Two

Includes placement of a high medical grade elixir serum ampule from  Dermedics  tailored for your age and skin type, on the treated area which infuses medical grade collagen inducing, skin nurturing ingredients into the micro-channels of the treated areas.  The micro channels created from the procedure allow your skin to drink and absorb these medical grade skin nurturing ingredients at a level your skin was incapable of experiencing prior to the treatment.

Post-Treatments

Hyaluronic Acid (also called Hyaluronan) is a supremely hydrating ingredient, hyaluronic acid has the ability to transmit massive amounts of water into the skin (in the neighborhood of 1000 times its own weight), and it is an extremely effective moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid seems to prevent scarring as well. It is a known fact that fetuses do not scar and this is thought to be due to the extremely high levels of hyaluronic acid in the amniotic fluid. This is yet another great reason to include this ingredient in an anti-wrinkle treatment.

Matrixyl 3000 is an amazing collagen builder and  is the trademark name for Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3, one of the powerful peptide molecules found in the latest generation of high-end anti-wrinkle skin care products. This breakthrough ingredient stimulates collagen production in the skin and can even give Botox® injections a run for their money in the anti-wrinkle department. Matrixyl becomes even more effective when combined with other peptides.  The researchers reported, “A highly significant reduction in the deep and moderate wrinkles was obtained on the side treated with 3% Matrixyl.  At the conclusion of the study, the surface area occupied by deep wrinkles was reduced by mean of 68%. The surface area occupied by moderate wrinkles was reduced by a mean of 51%
